The Comforting Presence of Jesus
This is the weekend of the Feast of Christ the King. Our liturgical year comes to an end as we will begin the observance of Advent next weekend, as we prepare to celebrate Christmas.
Seeing Jesus Christ as the ruling guide in our lives is, of course, very significant. As we end this church year, we focus also on the comforting and abiding presence of Jesus Christ in our lives.
Whatever may happen to us in this world, we can know that our faith will see us through. Things may be difficult at times, but Jesus has conquered sin and death! We are all a part of this spiritual reality!
May this Feast of Christ the King inspire us to live our faith confidently and boldly with the promise of Eternal Life to come!
And a happy and blessed Thanksgiving to all this coming Thursday! We give thanks to God for all of the blessings we have received!
And let us continue to pray for one another.
