Laity Sunday Weekend

This is Laity Sunday weekend in the Catholic Church. We recognize the work and ministry of all the baptized in our local and global community.

Our diocese is promoting the “Courageously Living the Gospel” outreach. Let’s be dedicated to be a part of this effort and to be true missionaries in our own situations today!

The word “laity” means all those who are baptized and initiated into the church community. All of us, working together, make our parishes and faith communities truly effective in our world!

Thank you to all of our volunteers and leaders in our parish and diocese who truly do make a difference!

May our efforts continue to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ everywhere!
