When we think of sympathy and compassion, especially in the name of Jesus Christ, the ministries of Pastoral Care immediately come to mind.
We here at St. Cecelia Parish are especially dedicated to this important ministry. We have outreach to those who are homebound, in nursing facilities and in the hospital. We endeavor to bring the peace and comfort that they need in so many ways!
Because of the recent pandemic, some of this outreach has been necessarily limited. But that doesn’t mean that we are not praying for each and every person in our parish who has health concerns or needs. We work hard to keep in touch with everyone we know of in such situations. Be assured of our prayers and best wishes.
My thanks to all who are a part of this important ministry in our parish. May God’s love and compassion continue to inspire us to keep all who may be suffering in any way in our prayers.
My thanks also to so many who continue to support our parish in this very challenging time. The Faith, Hope and Courage campaign is enabling us to do so. The dedication and generosity of our parishioners in time, talent and treasure means so much to so many!
And let us continue to pray for one another.
