The Future of the Church, Right Now
It is so wonderful to see young people in church! We know how important our youth are in so many ways!
Sometimes we like to say that young people are the “future of the Church”, but the reality is that they are part of the Church Community right now!
We so are in need of their energy and enthusiasm! Our Youth Ministry outreach here at St. Cecelia is so important. This weekend we are resuming our Life-Teen Mass on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 p.m. We pray for and with every young person in our parish that this can be a time of renewal and enrichment for them and for all of us!
We so appreciate all those involved in Youth Ministry in our parish. May God continue to bless their efforts here!
Grandparent's Day is Sunday, September 13 in honor of these beloved family members. Let us pray for their long life, happiness and health. May they always be living signs of the presence of God to their children and grandchildren.
My thanks to all who continue to support our parish in this very difficult time of pandemic. The Faith, Hope and Courage campaign is enabling us to do this. The dedication of our parishioners in time, talent and treasure makes all the difference!
And let us continue to pray for one another.
