We Have All Had Miracles

Jesus truly is the Son of God. This is the basic part of our faith. In the Gospel reading this weekend, Jesus gives us a sign of His divinity as He walks on water before His disciples.

Sometimes it can be difficult to recognize the divinity of Jesus when we have not personally witnessed so great an event. But, if we think about it, we have all had miracles take place in our lives. When a particular situation might have seemed hopeless, the love of God through Jesus Christ sustained us.

Let’s always be looking for the miracles that come our way.

In this time of pandemic, we continue to hope the best for all. Let us continue to support one another in any way we can.

The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is next Saturday, August 15, and it is not a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass for The Assumption is 8:30am Aug. 15.

And let us continue to pray for one another.
