A happy and blessed Fathers’ Day! This weekend we give thanks to God for all fathers in our parish and in our lives. May God’s love be constantly shown through their devotion to their families.
We also remember all of our fathers who have gone before us into eternal life. May God welcome them and reward them for their dedication and love.
Being a parent or grandparent can always be very challenging. What is the best way we can show our appreciation and love? Prayer is key. The more we pray for those who are guiding family life, the more the grace of God will be there to help.
Perhaps that is the best gift we can give our fathers this weekend….the gift of sincere prayer.
May we all feel that support in powerful, spiritual ways.
So in a special way, let us continue to pray for one another.
And let us continue to pray for one another.
