We know how important the Sacrament of the Eucharist is in our faith lives. When we receive the Body and Blood of Christ, we are strengthened in so many ways.
On this weekend we honor the Body and Blood of Christ in an important way. Our appreciation of the Eucharist can grow every time we gather together as people of faith to experience this wonderful presence of Jesus Christ in our lives.
When the bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Jesus, we know that He is with us in a very powerful, sacramental way. We are nourished and strengthened to live lives of faith, hope and charity.
It’s not easy to always be faithful disciples, but the Sacrament of the Eucharist is a constant help and encouragement.
May this Feast of Corpus Christi, the Body and Blood of Christ, be a constant reminder of how much Jesus loves each and every person in the world.
And let us continue to pray for one another.
