Feast of the Epiphany

This weekend we celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany. This term means “the Manifestation” of the Lord Jesus Christ. We recount how the Magi sought out the newborn King. We too seek the Lord in so many ways in our lives.

Jesus is made manifest to the world. The Magi represent all people who seek God’s truth and love. The Feast of the Epiphany reminds us that our faith in Christ is a “universal” or “Catholic” one, intended for all.

As we continue to seek to “courageously live the Gospel” let’s look for ways to seek Christ more effectively and then share his love and goodness with all those around us.

May the Epiphany remind us that we are all called to holiness and spiritual growth!

And let us continue to pray for one another.
