A Parish of Prayer and Action

This week we will observe the celebrations of two great saints . . . St. Monica and St. Augustine. St. Monica was a Christian mother who prayed for the conversion of her son, St. Augustine. Her prayers were answered and he became one of the greatest teachers and theologians in Church history, as well as a bishop. May we continue to pray for our family members who struggle with faith, and may the example of these two saints always give us hope and encouragement

Please check the bulletin this week for all of the activities that are happening here at St. Cecelia Parish. We are so fortunate to be a part of such an active community of faith. As we grow together in our love for Christ, let’s continue to work together to build up a truly strong parish of prayer and action. As we strive to be “courageously living the Gospel”, we know that there are so many ways in which we can be involved. Let’s work with one another as we see our parish of faith grow and reach out to the larger community.

And let us continue to pray for one another.
