This Sunday, November 11, marks the 100th Anniversary of the end of World War I in 1918. We used to call this Armistice Day, when that war came to an end. We now recognize it as Veterans’ Day, as we honor all those who have served our country. Let’s continue to pray for peace among all people in the world in our time and in the future!
This weekend we also welcome to our parish Fr. Cyrus Gallagher, who is here as a representative of the organization called “Unbound”. It is our opportunity to learn about how they aid children and the elderly who are in need throughout the world. We welcome Fr. Cyrus and we support the important work that he is a part of. May God always give us generous hearts.
May God continue to help us grow together as a strong faith community, linked to all believers throughout the world!
And let us continue to pray for one another.
