We all know that the Sacrament of the Eucharist is central to our faith. On this weekend, as we honor the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, may our appreciation for the Eucharist grow and develop. When the bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Jesus, we know that he is with us in a very powerful way. We are nourished and strengthened to live lives of faith, hope and love. It is so important that we receive Holy Communion on a regular basis to help us in our everyday lives. It’s not always easy to be a faithful disciple, but the Sacrament of the Body and Blood of Jesus is a constant help and encouragement to us.
Let us continue to always appreciate the Presence of our Lord in the Eucharist. May the Body and Blood of Christ be a constant reminder of how much Jesus loves each and every person in the world.
And let us continue to pray for one another.
