This week we welcome Fr. Aloysius Kasoma to our parish! He will be speaking at all the Masses and then be offering a Lenten
Mission for us here at St. Cecelia. Please check the bulletin for all the times and other information. Fr. Aloysius comes to us from Uganda and has spoken in many places regarding spirituality and support for the missions of the church. Welcome, Fr. Aloysius Kasoma to St. Cecelia Parish!
Lent, we know, is a time for prayer and almsgiving. The more we can take some time to pray at home and invite others to do so, the more fruitful this holy season can be for us. What a great opportunity we have with our Parish Mission this week! We can also take advantage of other opportunities to pray in our parish community. Check the bulletin for times of special prayer and devotion at St. Cecelia parish. As we think of giving alms, we want to remember our St. Vincent de Paul Society and the good work they do in caring for those in need. There are so many ways we can generously share of our time, talent and treasure to make a difference in the lives of others.
May this holy Season of Lent continue to be a time of spiritual
growth and renewal for all!
And let us continue to pray for one another.
Fr. Robert J. Schneider
