This is the weekend of the Feast of Christ the King. Our liturgical year comes to an end as we will begin the observance of Advent next weekend as we start to prepare for Christmas.
Seeing Jesus Christ as the ruling guidance In our lives is, of course, very important. As we end the church year, we focus also on the comforting and abiding presence of Jesus Christ in our lives.
Jesus wants us to know that whatever happens to us in this world, we can know that our faith will see us through. Things may be difficult at times, but Jesus has conquered sin and death, and we are a part of that spiritual reality.
May the Feast of Christ the King inspire us to live our faith boldly and confidently with the promise of Eternal Life to come!
And let us continue to pray for one another.
