Open Hearts

We continue to prepare for Christmas in this holy Season of Advent. We pray together that the real spiritual meaning of this season is in our hearts and minds. Let’s truly welcome Christ at Christmas!

We thank everyone for your generosity to the Special Collection for Retired Religious last weekend. This collection shows our love and appreciation for all the retired sisters, brothers and priests of religious orders and congregations. They have been teachers, pastors, leaders and spiritual directors. They have served in hospitals and health facilities. They have brought the love of Christ to so many in need.

Also, we thank all for your continued support of our diocesan Annual Pastoral Appeal (APA). We are enabling the church in our local area to continue in efforts of education, seminary formation and social service in the name of Christ that no single parish could do alone!

As we prepare for the Birth of Christ, may God give us open hearts to his divine love.

And let us continue to pray for one another.
