Our high school religious education program focuses on applying faith to the many challenges that Catholic teens face today. A team of adult catechists work with small groups to give each youth a chance to share and participate.
There should be at least one year of systematic religious education prior to the year of immediate preparation for any sacrament. This guideline is met through participation in the Catholic school or parish religious education program. Each free-standing sacramental preparation program involves the collaborative effort of the parish community and the families of those presented for sacraments.

Retrouvaille

Rite of Christian Initiation
The RCI is the normal way in which adults and children over the age of seven become full, active, participating members of the Catholic Church. The process is concerned with the total formation of the person into the believing Church community (doctrinal formation), living with the Church community (practical formation), praying with the Church community (liturgical formation), and serving with the Church community (apostolic formation). This gradual development culminates in the celebration of the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist) at Easter. The process formally ends on the feast of Pentecost. Sponsors, catechists, prayer partners and hospitality people are always welcome to help with this program; support is provided.
